Annika Mikołajko-Osman

coloratura soprano

She performs opera, operetta, oratorio, choral and, above all, contemporary music. Annika collaborates with many choirs and young composers and performs as a soloist at national and international festivals. In 2025, she received her Doctor of Arts degree by defending her doctoral thesis at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków, devoted to vocal contemporary music from the borderline of instrumental theatre and performance.

ARTISTIC PART OF DOCTORAL THESIS

The recording comes from the Special Concert „Contemporary vocal works in a different way, i.e. involving the singer in stage actions and instrumental playing”. The concert is the artistic part of the doctoral thesis of PhD Annika Mikołajko-Osman prepared under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tomasz Sobaniec and PhD Iwona Sowińska-Fruhtrunk.

The concert featured Olga Miriam Michałowska (piano, celesta), Aleksandra Wtorek (percussion), Karolina Bizukojć (saxophone), Nadim Husni (conductor) and Annika Mikołajko-Osman (soprano, bones, glass harp, percussion instruments, piano, conductor).
